This has been a hectic week.... working a full time job and now working full time on my business...it is a lot. I can empathize with anyone that is doing the same which is part of why I have been successful with my clients...I totally understand what they go through.
This week I had two comedy shows. Talked to potential clients about possible new projects got added into a new movie and cleaning my house...lol yes that is a job...
Now at 10 pm I am doing research for some of my artist and actors...trying to find venues for them...there is a project for a play and movie that I have to setup...sigh love being busy and love working with like minded people that are trying to do something with their lives...you NEVER know what you can do or where you can go if you don't try...

These are questions that I ask myself daily ... so that I can stay focused and on track....

Change
Some people do not like change....for me I am always looking for better was to do things. I understand that am not always right and will apologize if I am wrong.... some people do not see when they are wrong....complain when things happen to them but turn around and do the same thing to others.
This week I am on vacation from my job so I get to work more on my babies.... my companies that is.... it is a interesting process when you change the direction that you are going in deciding what not to keep and what to keep it is a lot of work...but every business should reevaluate what they are doing every so often....if you see something isn't working ...you may have to change how you or doing it or get rid of it all together.
So for this week I am upgrading my website and my clients websites...posting breakdowns for my clients as well as submitting talent to movies... created 2 comedy events for next month and looking at what to do for following months...busy yes but I love being Kandie....

The Rebirth
So as of today I have completed the Rebirth of Leave It to Kandie, LLC and Kandie Promotions....
Kandie Promotions will continue to be the event planning entity of Leave It To Kandie, LLC...
but Leave It To Kandie has become a Talent Management Company ... we will be managing all of our talents...comedians, singers, actors, models any one that is an entertainer.
Still giving them that one on on sweet touch only Kandie can give....linking them with the clients that will fit their unique talent and from time to time putting them in events that are created by Kandie Promotions to showcase their talent....
So the Rebirth has begun....I am proud to be the owner...the creator... the CEO of what is now Leave It To Kandie, LLC and Kandie Promotions....to have 14 entertainers that I am helping get to their Next Level....
and to believe it all started with 1 person saying that all that they did was Leave It To Kandie......

New Kandie
Well let's see.... I started doing shows...every show was to have 3 elements... 1 rapper...1 singer....1 comedian....the concept was everyone doesn't like rap....may not like the singing act....but everyone likes to laugh..... and so it started.... Thirsty Thursday's... and then my baby was born Classic City Comedy with the FAMOUS Squirt GoLive...
Yes I skipped over a whole part but I will leave that where it is ...in the past...
But what I will tell is that I was asked to be a manager....who would have thought a Talent Manager....

The Past
So I started my business in '09... wasn't trying to do anything spectacular....just make some gift baskets and poems....named my company Poems By Kandie....of course every time I said the name everyone thought I was saying "Porn" well you know that was always something to laugh about.... Still is.
My business was the concierge for small businesses....doing all of the things that small business owners did not have time to do. I dabbled in all kinds of things...making business cards, brochures, event planning and the "money maker" obituaries.... Well it was that venture that started the change....
My main client was going through some medical issues and decided that she would take on a partner and of course the partner wanted to do everything in house. My client sick as she was....was a trooper and she stated..."I am a mortician that is what I do... sometimes you have to find people that do what THEY do and pay them to do it....that is what I did....all of the stuff like making the obituaries, gift baskets, memorable things ... I just Leave That To Kandie...that is what SHE does"......well the change to my company started then.
Leave It To Kandie became a LLC in '15 and a chance encounter helping Making the Impossible...Possible... I sent my client to a business that was "the best" in creating music events. Well of course the person did not come through....which is one of the issues that small businesses have....so I found the information for the client myself....I was told...you should be doing this yourself....I can show you how... well I am still waiting on that ....but because I am who I am I wanted to PROVE that I could do it...just ONE show....
